The Silent Eevee

Krystal sighed, she had traveled all the way to the ancient ruins, she didn't know why but she felt good here.... maybe because she was alone? away from the others who might reject her? She wanted to be normal... but she could never be a normal or happy eevee right now, which crushed her chances of becoming an Umbreon, her only goal in life.

The abnormal eevee traveled inside, the darkness seemed to sooth her, take her in...

[Echo]

Luka entered the ruins, making no sound. She was a silent one of sorts, she lived alone on Shiny Mountain. Luka looked around, scanning her surrondings. She had lost her necklace her in a fight and was back to retrieve it. Luka sighed, almost breaking her silence. Where could it be? ,she thought.

Krystal gasped 'Who's there?!' she thought, she ran deeper inside, the weak young eevee wanted to hide, she ended up running into a small room. she looked down somewhat frightened, only to find a necklace by her paws. 'what's this?' she asked herself, making no sound she lifted it with her paw, looking at the heart shaped bead.

she then looked around, there were small amounts of light breaking through the ruin walls. 'This is actually a nice place...' she thought.

[Echo]

The lucario paused, almost hearing a sound. Luka dismissed it right away, knowing how the ruins would echo. Jumping on broken peices of part of a wall, she leaped through a hole on the ceiling, and onto the roof. It was the easiest way to get around in the ruins, but few knew about it. Luka started running over the roof, jumping over breaks in it. She headed towards where she thought she had gotten in the fight.

Krystal didn't know what the necklace was, but she liked it. Since she didn't know who owned it, and since it seemed nobody was around she replaced the scarf with the newer necklace.
Her problem was now fully revealed, and anybody who saw her now wouldn't even know she's an eevee... right?
Krystal wrapped the scarf around her left-front leg so she wouldn't loose it, she almost thought she was hearing something like footsteps above her, but, that wasn't possible was it? She thought she was the only one here...

[Echo]

Luka gasped. Her foot had gotten stuck in a hole on the roof. Slowly she tried to free her foot. No dice. It was really stuck. Luka really hoped her ankle wasn't twisted. She punched away at the rock in frustration. It widened the hole a little, but not enough to get her foot out. Smiling ruefully, she continued to punch away at the rock.

Krystal felt pieces of the ceiling fall on her as a foot got stuck in it from nowhere at all, she shrieked and covered her head as more of it fell. Though she was still being buffeted, the weak young eevee stayed there, lying down frozen in fear.

Luka's foot was almost free. She gave the rock a final punch, smiling as her foot was freed. The happiness was turned to fear as the rock crumbled away underneath her. Really?, she asked herself as she fell. This was so ironic. She fell to the floor with a thud. She hit her head against a rock and knew no more.

As the rock crumbled away even more, the strange poke'mon fell next to Krystal as the ceiling caved in a bit. She was shocked to still be alive after what had happened, but now she didn't have the time or ability to cover up her secret again.
'Stupid necklace!' she thought, since she found it before all of this happened. Maybe it was bad luck?

Luka opened her eyes. Her head was throbbing. "Ugh." , she said rolling over. Thank god nobody was here to see this, she thought. That would be embarrassing. She would never be able to live it down. Luka looked up as she staggered to her feet. "Just my luck." , she said scarcasticly. There was a strange eevee watching her.
